The president landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport late on Monday, September 23 after four days in London. President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, September 21, departed New York for London as announced by Femi Adesina.
Before leaving London, Buhari met with the Nigerian officials in the country. Credit: Femi Adesina Adesina confirmed his return with photographs showing President Buhari with Nigerian foreign officials in United Kingdom shortly before his departure for Abuja and when he was welcomed by Ondo state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, David Umahi of Ebonyi and Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara, who is also the chairman of Governor's Forum as he arrived Nigeria. The president is expected to return to Nigeria after his transit to London. However, the presidency has declined to state if Buhari's trip is medically related. President Buhari was received in Nigeria by three governors including Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo, Dave Umari of Ebonyi and Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara.
